In this course students will learn what Microsoft Intune and Autopilot are and how to deploy them. Students will also learn about managing device in Azure Active Directory and how to enhance device management within Intune.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
The Modern Desktop Administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring, managing, and monitors devices and client applications in an enterprise environment. Securing the modern desktop is an important part of the modern administrator role.
The Modern Desktop Administrator should be familiar with M365 and have strong skills and experience of deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and non-Windows devices. The focus is on using cloud services rather than an on-premises management solution.

COURSE PREREQUISITES:
Attendees should meet the following prerequisites:

• Attendees should meet the following prerequisites:Prospective students should be familiar with M365 and must have experience of deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and non-Windows devices.
• This course focuses on using cloud services rather than on-premises management technologies. It is recommended students have knowledge of managing and configuring Windows 10, prior to taking this course.
• Knowledge of OS deployment would be beneficial.

COURSE CONTENT:
Module 1
In this first module students will learn about the history of MDM and how Microsoft Endpoint Manager fits into the device management strategy. Students will look at modern devices and how they can be managed using Intune.
Module 2
Students will learn how to plan for Intune and will learn about deploying Endpoint Manager as a cloud only solution or an on premises solution using SCCM
Module 3
Autopilot – Student will learn how to use Autopilot to deploy Windows pc's and how Autopilot can be used to reset, repurpose and recover devices.
Module 4
In this module students will learn how to join devices to Intune so they can be managed by Intune. Students will learn about the different operating systems that can be managed by Intune.
Module 5
Students will learn about hybrid deployments using Configuration Manager and also how co-management can be deployed. Students will learn about Cloud Management Gateway and how its deploy and used for managing devices.
Module 6
Application management is a very important part of the Intune story. In this module students will learn how to use application management to publish, push, configure and manage mobile apps
