COURSE OBJECTIVE:
• Give an overview of what BPMN 2.0 is, its components, and learn to work with it through many examples and exercises
• Give an insight into the way of thinking, the way you approach a problem, that leads to successful and above all usable models – especially important when using BPMN in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), e.g. Tibco, SAP, BizTalk which all use process models as the living heart of the architecture
• Become familiar with the main application areas of BPMN: software development, business development and market approach
This course is intended as a hands-on introductory course. Nevertheless, those with some experience in process modeling will encounter much interesting and challenging material! You will learn BPMN in three plateaus of increasing complexity:
• basic
• simple (also called Descriptive)
• advanced (also called Analytic)
